One Year Ago...

Yesterday marked one year that my husband and I adopted our dog. As you can see in the photo he is more ornery now than he was the first day we got him, he is taller, stronger, and, well more crazy! And I've fallen for him. He has taught me to be more patient, understanding, and tough. I always thought I would be a push over (don't get me wrong he still gets food scraps and LOTS of love) however, I've learned that disciple and consistency is something that he needs and truthfully wants from me. Despite his teenage temperament, he is a great pup and I trust that our bond will only get stronger.

For Memorial Day we went to my aunt and uncle's house for a cookout. It was also my aunts birthday so I was in charge of the cake!
